WEBSTER COUNTY. Webster County was established by a declaration of the Constitutional Convention of 1868-69,qv and its territory was taken from the east part of Fannin County and the west part of Lamar County. Honey Grove was to be the county seat. Webster County was never organized or legalized by the legislature.
