Elisabet Ney, one of the first professional sculptors in Texas, in her
studio with her bust of William Jennings Bryan, Austin, 1900. Prints and
Photographs Collection, Elisabet Ney file, The Center for American
History, The University of Texas at Austin; CN 02910. When Ney found out
that Bryan was going to visit Austin, she contacted Governor Hogg, his
host, and requested that Bryan pose for her.
