Freemen of Texas To Arms!!! To Arms!!! , October 2, 1835.
Broadsides Collection, The Center for American History, The University
of Texas at Austin; CN 01536. After Texans defeated Mexican troops at
the battle of Gonzales on October 2, 1835, they issued a call for others
to arm themselves and join them at their camp for a march on the Mexican
soldiers stationed in San Antonio.

military report on the fall of the Alamo, clearly shows where the
Mexicans had positioned their cannons (at R and V) and the line of
attack of troops under General Cos (S).
