Campbell Named First Lone Star Professor of Texas History
Randolph B. "Mike" Campbell, TSHA Chief Historian and Regents Professor of History at the University of North Texas, was appointed as the first Lone Star Professor of Texas History. Michael Monticino, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at UNT, announced the professorship and Campbell’s appointment during the TSHA Annual Meeting in El Paso.
