The transcripts were made under the immediate supervision of Mr. W. E. Dunn, Dr. Bolton's assistant in the Mexican archives. The manuscript of these autos is very hard to decipher, and no small credit is due to Mr. Dunn and his co-laborer, Miss Dolores Hurtado, for their excellent and expert work in helping to make these manuscripts available.
