Distinguished Speakers Bureau

The Texas State Historical Association's Distinguished Speakers Bureau is designed to assist people with an interest in Texas history by finding quality speakers for their varied needs. The individuals found in this bureau have been selected by a panel of experts based on their known expertise. The views expressed by the individual speakers are their own and in no way reflect an official position by the Texas State Historical Association.

Use full-text search to find presentations (i.e. "indian," "elementary," or "amarillo").

The fee for speakers in this bureau is negotiable with each speaker, though a $400.00 stipend plus travel expenses is recommended. A potential source of funding for speakers is the "Mini Grant" program offered by Humanities Texas, which provides financial assistance for speakers and public programs.
