S. Tucker Foley, administrator, collected Arthur G. Foley's pay on the usual certificate from the War Department showing that he had served as third sergeant in Captain Shackelford's Company from Jan. 19th to March 27th, 1836, as shown by the muster rolls on file. [CMSR, No. 9198; State
Library.] He was a victim of the massacre of March 27th.

The name of Richard P. Forbes does not appear on any known roll of Fannin's men, but it appears from files in the General Land Office that land certificates issued to his heirs, he having "Fallen with Fannin." There is a possibility that he may have been a member of Pearson's Company.

The several versions of the T&TR roll of Fannin's men, and the LOMR, all attest that J. A. Foster was a private in Captain Wadsworth's Company of the Georgia Battalion, and perished with it at the general massacre at Goliad, March 27, 1836.
