Franklin's pay on the usual War Department certificate, that his name appeared as a private on Captain Shackelford's muster roll on file; and that he was entitled to pay from Dec. 15, 1835 to March 27, 1836. [CMSR, No. 11, State Library.] He was a victim of the massacre of March 27th.

Charles Frazer and W. W. Frazer came to Texas in Wadsworth's Company, but quarrelled with him and, on Jan. 26, 1836 transferred to Duval's Company, for which they were returned an "deserters" on Wadsworth's roll.
