AgeWyatt's Company

Some time after making up its roll of Fannin's Command and filing it in Land Office as required by the act of the Legislature of Texas approved 1850, the AGO compiled a supplemental roll of members of various companies of Fannin's Command whose names were not placed on the original muster roll. For Wyatt's Company these were for the most part men returned on Wyatt's original roll of Dec. 25, 1835 whose names do not appear on Fannin's muster roll for Feb. 29, 1836. Due to the fact that many of Wyatt's men became dissatisfied and returned home, about February 1st, on the vessels that brought Fannin's men to Copano, the number of these is rather large. Among them was 2nd Lieutenant "J. W. Wood," but this name is corrected by a later notation, "Wm. G. Cooke says J. W. Hood."
