Unkn - unknown fate; insufficient record.
   ? - question mark appended if uncertain or contra-
       dictory evidence.

The "FATE" column lists Harbert Davenport's conclusion
as to the probable fate of each man, given all the 
evidence he had collected by 1936. Within square brackets
are shown any different conclusions from additional 
evidence uncovered by 1939 for his paper, "The Goliad 
Men" (this Appendix A). Davenport's detailed fate of the 
men was lumped into the above three catagories, for the 
purpose of this summary.
