associates Lamar Bounty 7 with Buchanan, as follows: "*BUCKHANAN, GREEN B.
The heirs of Green B. Buckhanan received Bty Wnt 9379 for 1920 acres from S
War on 2 Jan 1840 for his service, "From 24 Dec 1835 to 27 Mar 1836 having
been killed on that day." 1920 acres in Lamar Cty were ptd to the heirs on
21 Jan 1842. Pat 376 Vol 1 Abst 122 GLO File Lamar Bty 7."
