Cynthia Marshall Devlin

Cynthia Marshall Devlin taught U.S. History as an Adjunct Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University for fourteen years, retiring in 2019. She has also worked in the aviation industry for two major airlines and a consulting firm. Interests include the histories of law, aviation, ancient civilizations, Texas women, and Southern culture. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in history from Stephen F. Austin State University. She completed an archaeological excavation techniques certificate from the University of London and acquired a paralegal certificate from Southwestern Paralegal Institute, Houston.
