Robert J. Duncan

Robert J. (Jack) Duncan is a longtime life member of the Texas State Historical Association. He is also a former president and longtime life member of the Texas Folklore Society, a former sheriff (president) of the Dallas Corral of Westerners International, and a member of the East Texas Historical Association. Jack has taught at Collin College and Grayson County College. His articles have been widely published in both popular and scholarly periodicals.
For more than two decades Jack has worked as a writer/editor/researcher for Retractable Technologies, Inc., a safety-needle medical device manufacturer in Little Elm. He has lived in McKinney most of his life. Jack has been married to his high school sweetheart, the former Elizabeth Ann Harris, since 1963; they have two sons, five grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
