Alligator Creek rises six miles southeast of Reagan in southeastern Falls County (31°11' N, 96°42' W) and runs southwest for ten miles to its mouth on the Little Brazos River, seven miles southwest of Bremond in Robertson County (at 31°06' N, 96°46' W). The streambed traverses flat to rolling prairie surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support oak, juniper, mesquite, and grasses.
