Antelope Creek (San Saba County)

Antelope Creek rises nine miles northwest of Richland Springs in northwestern San Saba County (at 31°22' N, 99°04' W) and flows northeast for 12½ miles to its mouth on the Colorado River, which forms the Mills county line (at 31°28' N, 99°00' W). The creekbed crosses an area of moderately to steeply sloping hills with live oak, Ashe juniper, mesquite, and grasses growing in clayey and sandy loam soils.
