Apache Peak is thirty-two miles northeast of Sierra Blanca in central eastern Hudspeth County (at 31°29' N, 104°55' W). It straddles the Culberson-Hudspeth county line, although the summit is in Hudspeth County. With an elevation of 5,690 feet above sea level, it rises 2,000 feet above State Highway 54, four miles to the east.
