A second Arroyo Blanco rises five miles southeast of Farm Road 3169 in central Zapata County (at 27°06' N, 99°12' W) and runs southeast for eight miles to its mouth on Salomoneño Creek, a mile northeast of State Highway 16 and two miles southwest of Bustamante (at 26°59' N, 99°09' W). The area's low-rolling hills and prairies are surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, mesquite, grasses, and chaparral.
