Batiste (Baciste) Creek rises three-fourths of a mile northeast of Moss Hill in eastern Liberty County (30°16' N, 94°42' W) and runs southeast for twenty-three miles, dipping briefly into southwestern Hardin County before reentering Liberty County, to its mouth on Willow Creek, four miles northeast of Devers (at 30°03' N, 94°31' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. It cuts through a region characterized by loamy soils and mixed pine and hardwood forests.
