Bead Mountain Creek rises north of Bead Mountain and west of Valera in west central Coleman County (at 31°45' N, 99°36' W) and runs southeast for four miles to join Home Creek (at 31°45' N, 99°33' W). The stream runs through steep slopes surfaced by shallow clay loams that support juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
