Beckum Creek rises two miles east of Woodlawn in north central Harrison County (at 32°40' N, 94°18' W) and runs northeast for 6½ miles through northeastern Harrison County to its mouth on Big Cyprus Bayou, near Baldwin (at 32°43' N, 94°14' W). It is intermittent in its upper reaches. The surrounding gently undulating to hilly terrain is surfaced by loam and clay and is heavily wooded in places with pine and hardwood trees.
