Bee Creek rises 4½ miles west of Meridian in west central Bosque county (at 31°54' N, 97°44' W) and flows south for nine miles to its mouth on Meridian Creek, in the southwestern section of the county (at 31°48' N, 97° 39' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. It flows through Meridian State Recreation Area, where a dam with a spillway impounds a small lake. A short waterfall is located farther downstream, three miles above the mouth.
