Bee Mountain is in the Kimball Bend area of the Brazos River, fifteen miles northeast of Morgan in northeastern Bosque County (at 32°08' N, 97°30' W). It rises 850 feet above sea level in a portion of the Grand Prairies characterized by flat to rolling terraces and surfaced with clay and sandy loams. Juniper, oak, mesquite, and grasses grow in the area.
