Black Hill

Black Hill is twenty-two miles northeast of Terlingua in west central Brewster County (at 29°38' N, 103°31' W). With an elevation of 4,004 feet above sea level, it rises 590 feet above State Highway 118, three miles to the west. Its shallow, stony soils support scrub brush and grasses.
