Boggy Creek (Red River County)

Boggy Creek rises four miles northwest of Clarksville in central Red River County (at 33°39' N, 95°05' W) and flows south for 4½ miles before emptying into a man-made lake just south of Clarksville. Below the lake, the creek flows southeast for about five miles to its mouth on Langford Creek, about six miles south of Clarksville (at 33°32' N, 95°01' W). The soil along the creek is clayey and primarily used for crops and pasturage.
