Published: November 1, 1994

Brushy Creek rises seventeen miles northeast of Spur in east central Dickens County (at 33°34' N, 100°36' W) and runs east for ten miles to its mouth on Salt Creek, ten miles southwest of Guthrie in western King County (at 33°34' N, 100°29' W). It begins in a shallow canyon on mesquite-brush plains and descends over 300 feet through a gradually tapering canyon with loamy topsoil that supports dense undergrowth.
