Brushy Knob, south of Farm Road 2084 five miles southeast of Christoval in southern Tom Green County (at 31°09' N, 100°27' W), rises to an elevation of 2,351 feet, or 60 to 180 feet above the surrounding terrain. Resistant ledges and low cuestas surround Brushy Knob, where shallow, stony soils support live oak, juniper, and grasses.
