Bryson Hill, five miles east of Brady in eastern McCulloch County (at 31°08' N, 99°35' W), has an elevation of 1,731 feet above mean sea level, thirty to fifty feet higher than the surrounding countryside. It was probably named for H. N. Bryson, an early landowner in the area.
