Bucker Creek rises near Lenz in southwestern Karnes County (at 28°49' N, 97°58' W) and runs northeast for seven miles to its mouth on Escondido Creek, three miles west of Kenedy (at 28°50' N, 97°54' W). The stream traverses flat to rolling terrain with clay loam and sandy loam soils that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
