Camp Creek rises two miles northwest of Mankins in northwest Archer County (at 33°45' N, 98°50' W) and runs north for 9½ miles to its mouth on the Wichita River, just north of Kadane in southwestern Wichita County (at 33°52' N, 98°51' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support hardwoods and grasses. For most of the county's history the Camp Creek area has been used as range and crop land.
