Cedar Creek (Montague County)

Cedar Creek rises near the Bowers oilfield in northeastern Montague County (at 33°48' N, 97°30' W) and runs four miles northeast to its mouth on the Red River, in northwestern Cooke County (at 33°51' N, 97°28' W). It crosses flat to rolling terrain with local escarpments, surfaced by sandy loam that supports hardwood forest, brush, and grasses.
