Dearduff, William (unknown–1836)

Bill Groneman Biography Entry

William Dearduff, Alamo defender, was born in Tennessee. He immigrated to Texas and, on November 5, 1831, registered for a quarter league of land in DeWitt's colony. He entered the Alamo with the relief force from Gonzales on March 1, 1836, and died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6.
