Frog Pond Creek rises nine miles west of Eden in southwestern Concho County (at 31°12' N, 100°02' W) and runs north for 12½ miles to its mouth on Kickapoo Creek, fourteen miles southwest of Paint Rock (at 31°21' N, 100°02' W). It traverses an area of steep slopes and benches, where shallow clay loams support grasses, live oak, junipers, and mesquite. The creek was the site of an annual Methodist camp meeting.
