Jenny Creek rises in a stock pond 1½ miles northwest of Winedale in northern Fayette County (at 30°06' N, 96°39' W) and runs south for two miles to its mouth on Jacks Creek (at 30°04' N, 96°40' W). It traverses terrain surfaced by shallow sandy loams over firm clays. The area is used primarily for pasture.
