Love Creek rises south of the Lowrance Ranch headquarters in northeast King County (at 33°45' N, 100°01' W) and runs north for seven miles to its mouth on the Middle Fork of the Wichita River, one mile south of the Foard county line and west of the Knox county line in the northeast corner of King County (at 33°50' N, 100°00' W). The stream is fed by numerous small streams and seeps. It flows through rolling to steep slopes surfaced by shallow clayey and sandy loams, with some local stoniness, that support juniper, cacti, and sparse grasses. A mail camp was at one time located near the creek.
