Nabors Creek rises (at 31°23' N, 98°31' W) four miles southeast of Goldthwaite in southern Mills County and runs southwest for seven miles to its mouth (at 31°20' N, 98°36' W) on the Colorado River. The local terrain is flat with local shallow depressions and is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
