Pat Wagner General Entry

Relics, a magazine published in Austin by Western Publications , began as a quarterly in 1967 and became bimonthly in 1969. It was available by subscription only and had a national circulation of 15,000 in 1971. Though devoted primarily to frontier relics and artifacts and to public and private collections of western Americana, it did not exclude any item of American origin. Joe Austell Small was publisher, and Pat Wagner was editor in 1978. The magazine went out of print after the April 1978 issue. In 1991 out-of-print issues of the magazine were still being advertised in True West.
