Saline Creek (Smith County)

Saline Creek rises three miles southwest of Tyler in central Smith County (at 32°16' N, 95°22' W) and runs southwest ten miles to its mouth on Saline Bay, an inlet on the Neches River (at 32°08' N, 95°27' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain has some local steep slopes and is surfaced by brown loam that supports grasses interspersed with pine and hardwood forests.
