Salmon Peak is 2½ miles north of the intersection of the West Nueces River and Farm Road 334 in northwest Kinney County (at 29°29' N, 100°10' W). At an elevation of 1,943 feet above sea level, its summit rises approximately 680 feet above the surrounding terrain.
