Wright's Knobs

Wright's Knobs, or Wright Knobs, are elevations two miles southeast of the community of Prairie Mountain in southwestern Llano County (30°33' N, 98°52' W). At an elevation of 1,787 feet, the highest summit rises 265 feet above nearby Ranch Road 2323. The Knobs stand in an area of the Llano Basin characterized by flat to rolling terrain covered with sandy and clay loams. Vegetation consists primarily of open stands of live oak and mesquite.
