ROBERTSON, JAMES WATERS
ROBERTSON, JAMES WATERS (1812–1836). James Waters Robertson, Alamo defender, son of Felix and Lydia (Waters) Robertson, was born in Tennessee on February 18, 1812. He was married to Sarah Carson. Robertson came to Texas from Louisiana, took part in the siege of Bexar, and later served in the Alamo garrison. He died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
