RINCÓN, TEXAS. Rincón is on Farm Road 490 between Farm roads 2844 and 755, ten miles west of McCook in northeastern Starr County. In 1991 it had an oil and gas refinery, a farm storage unit, several homes, and a population of 100. By 2000 the population dropped to five.
