SARON FRONT, TEXAS. Saron Front, a logging camp in western Trinity County, was established in the late 1800s to provide timber for the large sawmill at Saron about six miles to the north. The camp flourished briefly around 1900 but was deserted in the 1920s when the Saron sawmill closed. No trace of Saron Front remains.
