STRONGFIELD, TX

STRONGFIELD, TEXAS. Strongfield, two miles south of Mount Enterprise in southeastern Rusk County, was named for the Strong family, who settled in the area about 1880. It was on a mail route from Mount Enterprise. Strongfield was not shown on the 1936 county highway map.
