BEACH CREEK. Beach Creek rises three miles northwest of Linden in central Cass County (33°03' N, 94°23' W) and flows southeast for seven miles to its mouth on Iron Ore Lake, three miles southeast of Linden (at 32°58' N, 94°20' W). The stream, intermittent in its upper and middle reaches, traverses gently undulating to rolling terrain surfaced by loamy soils. The downstream area has been the site of extensive strip-mining.
