BEARS FOOT CREEK. Bears Foot Creek rises a half mile north of U.S. Highway 67 and five miles northeast of Ballinger in central Runnels County (at 31°46' N, 99°53' W) and flows southeast for six miles before emptying into the Colorado River three miles southeast of Ballinger in central Runnels County (at 31°43' N, 99°54' W). Mesquite and grasses grow on the surrounding flat to gently sloping land.
