BUFFALO CREEK (MILLS COUNTY)
BUFFALO CREEK (Mills County). Buffalo Creek rises near the Brown county line in southwestern Mills County (at 31°33' N, 98°55' W) and runs five miles south to its mouth on the Colorado River, the southern county line (at 31°26' N, 98°54' W). It crosses an area of rolling hills and steep slopes surfaced by shallow clays and locally stony sandy loams that support juniper, cacti, and sparse grasses.
