BINGHAM CREEK. Bingham Creek rises just west of Douglass in western Nacogdoches County (at 31°41' N, 94°54' W) and runs southwest for 4½ miles to its mouth on the Angelina River, one mile south of State Highway 21 (at 31°39' N, 94°57' W). It traverses flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses along the streambed.
