CAMPBELL DRAW. Campbell Draw rises ten miles southeast of the Fort McKavett community in southwestern Menard County (at 30°43' N, 100°02' W) and runs north for ten miles to its mouth on the San Saba River, five miles west of Fort McKavett (at 30°50' N, 100°03' W). The surrounding flat terrain with local shallow depressions is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
