CAMPGROUND CREEK. Campground Creek rises four miles north of Bluffton in eastern Llano County (at 30°52' N, 98°30' W) and runs southeast for 4½ miles to its mouth on Lake Buchanan, one mile south of Lake Buchanan Village (at 30°50' N, 98°27' W). It is in the Llano basin and crosses locally dissected, flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support open stands of live oak and mesquite.
