CANEY CREEK (MORRIS COUNTY)
CANEY CREEK (Morris County). Caney Creek rises 1½ miles northwest of Naples in northeastern Morris County (at 33°13' N, 94°42' W) and runs northeast for six miles to its mouth on Tuck Branch in northwestern Cass County, 1½ miles from the Morris county line (at 33°14' N, 94°36' W). The local soils are predominantly loamy, and the area is for the most part used for pasture. Locally the creek has often been called Fleming Creek.
